IMPORTANT INFO: READ UNTIL THE END (there's good news)

Dear American friends,

I wanted to let you know why Liberloom orders to the United States are currently paused and what’s changing soon.

On 30th July 2025, the US Government announced new customs regulations that will take effect on 29th August 2025.

Until now, parcels worth under $800 could enter the US without paying import duties. This is called the de minimis threshold, and it’s why many small international orders could be delivered duty-free.

Under the new rules:

• All goods entering the US (no matter their value) will have import duties applied.

Now here's the good news:

To comply, I’ll need to collect US duties and taxes at checkout so they’re paid upfront. This update is important because it means you won’t get surprise fees once your package reaches the US, your total cost will be clear before you order.

To make this possible, my courier (Royal Mail) is updating their shipping system to a new “Delivered Duties Paid” service for US orders.

While they make these changes, I can’t ship to the US, but this pause will be short-lived.

US shipping SHOULD be back before our big release, and my best guess is around 5th September.
